My name is Chardonnee Calixte, and I’m thrilled to be part of Dance Stars! I was born in Lawrenceville, GA, and grew up in Franklin, TN, as one of seven children in a big, loving family. After moving to Chattanooga, TN, for college, I graduated from Southern Adventist University with a Bachelor’s in Nursing. Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked my way up in the medical field, from a certified nursing assistant to a registered nurse.

Currently, I work at Parkridge Valley Hospital as a psychiatric nurse—a role I take great pride in because I see it as a God-given talent to help others during some of their most challenging times.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with friends, coffee dates, connecting with my small group at Crosswalk Church, and, most importantly, spending quality time with my amazing family. I’m the proud wife of Mendy Calixte and the blessed mom of two incredible sons, Jetson and Junior.

Before meeting my husband, I was a single mom working full-time while putting myself through school, earning less than $25,000 a year. I know what it’s like to face financial struggles, and that’s why this fundraiser is so close to my heart. I can personally relate to the challenges many families face, and I’m passionate about helping those in need gain access to food and support.

This fundraiser is my opportunity to give back to those who stood by me during the most challenging seasons of my life. Their support carried me through, and now I want to pay it forward by helping others facing similar struggles.
